Imagine a simple mistake is all that is needed to ruin 1 days worth of work. After 24 hours of stirring, I, moronically turned the knob in a direction that caused a vacuum to suck most, but thankfully not all of the solution that I have been working on. My close frineds will know how much a "butter-fingers" I can be. I'm very appreciative of the seniors and close friends that pulled me back from the blackhole of depression. I noticed how optimistic the seniors were. No matter what went wrong (Yes, there was not only one mistake that I made...), there were all the way on the yellow brick road and never falted no matter what went wrong, whether it was the updraft of pressure that 'helped clean" the rubber tubing with my solvent or the vaccum that sucked of sample and ensured further "purity" of it. I am indeed thankful to them and only hope I can be half of what they have acheived to attain such tenacity. I will not falter... try to.... and try my best tomorrow, again... God Bless Me!!!
It's been a great start to my internship. Though I'm dreading the reports and presentations that is in store for me as it progresses, I have learned lots of new stuff and made many great friends there. I agree that lab work is quite boring and mundane, but as the saying goes - "If you can find fun in work, it becomes a game instead". Its so true ^.^ Well, just hope everything goes smoothly and I can acheive everything I do, including my experiments hee hee!!
Well... for me it is. For any avid spiderman fan who loved the animated series, the movie was a dismal attempt to emulate it. I was dissapointed with the absence of the witty one-liners by spiderman, the scientific methods of creating different webbing to target diffrent kind of super villains and the application of neogenics. Either I am epecting too much out of the movie. Another shame was the characters that were chosen to represent the characters. The only character that suits the roles very well was Uncle Ben and Jamerson. The others was what I think a move of trying to shift away from the "norm" that , for me, didnt turn out well. I was like "come on, venon is not that scrawny topher grace", a more muscular character would be better. Anyway, who am I to decide what is good or not, not as if I'm some spiderman critic. Nonetheless, if anyone was expecting the stuff that was lacking in the movie, miss the movie, get the dvds on the animated series instead. I will give it 3 out of 5, the CGs and fast paced ariel battles saved it from being a flop among the top.

You are The Devil
Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession
The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.
Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.
